In the world of design there is the term universal design, which has the definition of a design concept that is intended for all people regardless of differences, both from cultural background, language, knowledge, to the level of physical ability. It is expected that projects run by Intuisi Studio can be long-lived and can facilitate a variety of age ranges, limitations, to the specific needs of clients \/ building users.<\/p>\n

Deskripsi Proyek TA :\u00a0 RSU Bhakti Rahayu Surabaya<\/strong>\u00a0is a type C hospital that was established on February 5, 2000. This hospital is equipped on Jl. Ketintang Madya I No.16 Surabaya. Initially, the hospital consisted of a BKIA polyclinic and a maternity hospital. Since 2001 its status has risen to become a public hospital. Hospital is a building whose users come from various cultural backgrounds, languages, knowledge, and different levels of physical ability and requires the application of universal principles of universal world design, which has a resolution of design concepts intended for all people regardless of differences, both from cultural background, language, knowledge, to the level of physical ability. This concept-lity aims to increase awareness of persons with disabilities, specifically sensory disabilities. Application of this concept can be seen from the facilities and infrastructure that applies universal design principles so that it is friendly for people with disabilities. The application of this concept can also be seen from the educational media in the interior by applying stimulation design. With the application of stimulation design, it is expected to not only educate but also optimize comfort and make Bhakti Rahayu Hospital have its own characteristics for building users, especially patients. The concept of stimulation is implemented through sensory experience in the interior by deepening the understanding of interior physical conditions related to the user\u2019s sensory perception. The form of sensory information consists of those that are (1) visual, that is, vision which is the most obvious aspect in feeling the interior of a room and (2) non-visual stimuli, such as kissing, taste, hearing, touch that cause emotional influence in sensory experiences in interior space.<\/p>\n

Sense of hearing<\/strong><\/p>\n

the sound of running water or rustling of leaves increases the parasympathethic response which helps the body to relax.<\/p>\n

Vision Senses<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the educational mural, lighting arrangement, finishing of a ceiling with a cloud in the corridor area, and choosing the color of finishing interior elements.<\/p>\n

Tactile Sense<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the handrail in the corridor area, finishing paint without texture (smooth), and the existence of coloring wall.<\/p>\n

Sense of Taste<\/strong><\/p>\n

Paying attention to the quality of food and drinks consumed by patients.<\/p>\n

The sense of Smell<\/strong><\/p>\n
