Workshop \u2018honeycomb\u201d membuka wawasan baru bagi siswa\/i SMA mengenai informasi menarik dibalik dunia pangan, khususnya dalam bidang teknologi pangan yang inovatif. Workshop ini mengenalkan siswa lebih lanjut mengenai teknologi pangan dengan praktik langsung melalui proses pembuatannya.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apa Itu <em>Honeycomb Candy<\/em>?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>Honeycomb candy <\/em>merupakan permen yang dibuat dari gula yang terkaramelisasi yaitu pada suhu 145\u2070C dan ditambahkan baking soda untuk membentuk rongga khas <em>honeycomb <\/em>akibat adanya gas karbon dioksida yang terperangkap dalam gula cair.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Keseruan Workshop Honeycomb<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Siswa diajak untuk berkreasi dalam pembuatan <em>honeycomb candy <\/em>bersama dengan mahasiswa <em>Food Technology Program <\/em>(FTP). Prosesnya menggunakan teknik yang\u00a0 sederhana\u00a0 mulai\u00a0 dari\u00a0 karamelisasi gula, penambahan baking soda, dan pembentukan <em>honeycomb<\/em>. Dalam karamelisasi gula terjadi reaksi <em>maillard <\/em>dan karamelisasi yang memberikan perubahan warna dan rasa yang khas pada permen. Penambahan baking soda akan menghasilkan karbon dioksida untuk membentuk rongga udara pada <em>honeycomb<\/em>. Selain membuat <em>honeycomb candy, <\/em>peserta dibebaskan untuk\u00a0 berkreasi\u00a0 dengan\u00a0 penambahan coklat dan bahan lainnya untuk menciptakan produk yang unik.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Apa Sih Manfaatnya?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Siswa\/i SMA difasilitasi dalam pemahaman mengenai\u00a0 konsep\u00a0 dasar\u00a0 khususnya,\u00a0 karamelisasi,\u00a0 tekstur, dan reaksi kimia sederhana dalam pembuatan permen. Selain itu, workshop ini memberikan gambaran nyata bagaimana teknologi pangan dalam menciptakan produk inovatif sehari-hari.<\/p>\n<p>Workshop ini dirancang untuk memberikan pembelajaran baik secara teori maupun praktik dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Bagi siswa SMA, hal ini merupakan kesempatan\u00a0 emas\u00a0 untuk\u00a0 memahami bagaimana teknologi sederhana dapat menghasilkan produk menarik yang bernilai jual tinggi.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mereka Sudah, Kamu Kapan?
