I never felt what it is like to be in heaven but I think the hidden beach seems close enough (if you love beach so much).
\nLucky me to be born at the beautiful small Island called Sumba. There seems never enough to explore this Island’s beaches. One of the fairest of them all are the Weekuri beach.<\/p>\n

\"Taken<\/a>
Taken by my brother before I went there. It’s about 12-1 p.m.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\nNever heard,right? Surprisingly I have never been there before, not until my last holiday.
\nLot of my friends have been asking for the pictures of this beach because they never believe when I said there\u2019s beach inside the cliff same like the famous Mexico beach at Marieta Island.<\/p>\n

It wasn’t as easy as I thought to get there. The streets are full of big and small holes. There are grasses grow all around our sight and yeah.. the hardest one, there’s no road sign to get there.<\/p>\n

You can only go there either by motorcycle or car with a big wheel because of the road’s condition. Don’t worry if you lost there,\u00a0 people in Sumba are nice to the new comers and really “kepo” I would say. You also don’t need to feel awkward because they love to watch you every second and minute from distance, not because they want to make you scare, it’s just their habit.<\/p>\n

Arrived there, I couldn’t stop taking pictures and tons of pictures. I’ve been wondering and dreaming what it’s look like. Same or better than the Mexico beach I thought<\/span> before. I can’t even describe to you what it feels like.<\/p>\n

\"Blue<\/a>
Blue clear water like glasses, the silent sound and of course the smell of beach air so refreshing and relaxing. (For your information it\u2019s 3 p.m. afternoon)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

\nApparently, people called this lake but some of the local people still believe it’s part of the beach and keep calling them beach.
\nNot just exploring the beach inside the cliff, some European and local tourists can also enjoy the snorkeling experience with lots of coral reefs and small fishes. I also got information from local people that there’s one home stay near there built by France tourists because they love the beach.<\/p>\n

Anyway, it’s swimming time! I just went into the water with my own swimming goggle and\u00a0 started to snorkeling. I am type of person that love the silent underwater. Don\u2019t you feel relax?
\nIt’s also safe for children because you can keep your eyes of them from the beach that isn’t too big. But still you have to remember checking the depth of the water just in case.<\/p>\n

The water\u2019s a bit strange for me since i thought the water is contaminated with oils or other chemicals. But it\u2019s actually mixed between salty beach and the lake water also the temperature between the cold and warm water.
\nOne more strange things there, can you imagine of being watched by 2 kids around you while diving? They actually watched you so that you\u2019re not drowned.<\/p>\n

I don’t know you can see or not but those small looking rock is a child<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Around this lake or beach, it\u2019s a beautiful high cliff that shows the beach outside the lake and I can\u2019t resist to take pictures.<\/p>\n

Here’s what it looks like in light, a bit hard to climb but it’s all worth it!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Best part here at the cliff is that you can watch the sunset clearly with the sound of waves at the beach. It’s so nice to go to Weekuri Beach and of course a perfect experience for me too. This is my small “heaven”,what’s yours?<\/p>\n

Feels jealous? Come on! The beach’s waiting for you! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

– Where : Pantai Weekuri , Kodi, Sumba Barat Daya, Nusa Tenggara Timur
\n– Accommodation : You can find a lot of information at Airport when you arrived
\n–\u00a0 Harga tiket Surabaya – Sumba : Rp 2.500.000 – Rp 3.000.000 (Some airlines to get there are Lion air, Garuda Indonesia, Trans Nusa)
