Cesario M. Labajo, Jr. is a Full-Time Lecturer in the School of Business Management at Universitas Ciputra, Surabaya. With a career spanning over a decade across the Philippines, China, Kazakhstan, and Indonesia, he brings a global perspective to the IBM-IC faculty. His teaching philosophy focuses on maximizing learning opportunities through diverse classroom settings and innovative pedagogy, including project-based learning, simulations, and blended learning environments.

He finished his Doctor of Philosophy in Development Education at Central Luzon State University, and he is currently pursuing his second Doctor of Philosophy major in Biology at the University of the Philippines. Cesario holds a Master of Science in Educational Management and a Bachelor of Secondary Education major in Biology. His research background is extensive, with a focus on student performance, motivation, and the impact of parental and teacher involvement on academic success. This strong academic foundation allows him to bridge the gap between educational theory and practical application in business management.

Before joining Universitas Ciputra, he held significant roles as an Online Lecturer in Management and Leadership at Jose Rizal University and Richmindale College in the Philippines and as a Teacher Coordinator at the Nazarbayev Intellectual School in Kazakhstan. He also has extensive experience with the Cambridge IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IBDP) frameworks, having taught at prestigious institutions such as Elyon Christian School and Cita Hati Senior High School. This background as a “teacher of teachers” and coordinator underscores his leadership capabilities and commitment to academic excellence.
