Curriculum.
The curriculum in International Business Management – International Class is designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complexities of the global business environment. This program typically includes a comprehensive study of international business strategies, cross-cultural management, global marketing, international finance, and trade regulations. Students engage in case studies, real-world projects, and simulations to develop a practical understanding of how to operate effectively in an international context. Emphasis is often placed on fostering intercultural competence, language proficiency, and a global mindset to prepare graduates for leadership roles in multinational corporations, international organizations, and the dynamic field of global business.
- Entrepreneurship Essentials, students will learn to utilize their entrepreneurial competencies to contribute positive values to the community. (3 Credits)
- Business Management, through experiential-based learning, students will learn to utilize their entrepreneurial competencies to contribute positive values to the community. (3 Credits)
- Principles of Accounting, in this module, students will learn to apply basic concepts of accounting by creating proper financial statements for service and trading companies in accordance with the Guidelines for Financial Accounting Standards. (3 Credits)
- Business Inspiring and Communication, through this module, students will learn to present their ideas in a business context both verbally and in writing. (4 Credits)
- Economics for Business, upon completion of this module, students will be able to analyse the economy using the concept of micro and macro scale economics individually or in groups and present their analysis in the form of economic infographics. (3 Credits)
- Pancasila, comparison and evaluation of various contexts, students will be able to appreciate the values in Pancasila and to internalize its values into the context of everyday life, from the smallest scope to the national and state scope. (2 Credits)
- Entrepreneurial Venture Creation, students are encouraged to identify local and global business opportunities and to turn them into business ideas. Students will also learn to validate business ideas based on the market and financial aspects. (4 Credits)
- Financial Management, explain the basic concepts and functions of financial management, determine investment decisions on valuable assets, simulate capital requirements and determine capital costs. (3 Credits)
- Ethics, students learn to identify, analyze, and apply ethical principles to make responsible decisions in real-world business situations. (3 Credits)
- International Business, develop a basic understanding of the concept of globalization and cultural differences, identify economic and industrial conditions that apply to international business in relation with the international business. (3 Credits)
- Operation Management, find and present solutions to management and business problems, do an in-depth examination of the pillars of company management, which consist of HR, operational, marketing and financial functions. (3 Credits)
- Civics, students will learn to internalize the national and state life values into the context of everyday life, from the smallest scope to the national and state scope. (2 Credits)
- Entrepreneurial Venture Execution, students learn how to implement and manage the operations of a new business, focusing on turning entrepreneurial ideas into reality through effective planning, resource management, and scaling strategies. (6 Credits)
- Cost Management, students learn how to plan, control, and reduce costs in business operations through techniques like budgeting, cost allocation, and financial analysis to improve profitability and efficiency. (3 Credits)
- Human Capital Management, understand the general description, functions and theoretical background of human capital management, design and apply human capital management functions to their businesses. (3 Credits)
- Marketing Management, understand the Importance of marketing for the company’s progress, marketing trend of the 21st Century, analyze consumers. (3 Credits)
- Becoming Indonesia, students are encouraged to appreciate and internalise the concept of “Being Indonesia” in the context of
diversity, the wealth of natural resources and their utilisations in the context of everyday life from the smallest scope to the
national and state scope. (3 Credits) - Religion, students will be able to appreciate the concept of faith, devotion and humanity through the process of analyzing, comparing and evaluating important issues related to Indonesia’s current condition. (2 Credits)
- Statistics for Business, designed to help students to acquire the basic knowledge regarding the importance of mastering statistical methods to support business success based on the availability of real data in the field. (3 Credits)
- Consumer Behaviour, explain the introduction of consumer behavior and marketing strategies, and identify the affective and cognitive aspects of consumer behaviour and its marketing strategies. (3 Credits)
- Organizational Behaviour, students learn how individuals, groups, and structures affect behavior within organizations to improve effectiveness, teamwork, and leadership. (3 Credits)
- Indonesian Language, students learn to develop advanced skills in formal Indonesian language use, including academic writing, critical reading, effective communication, and appreciation of Indonesian linguistic and literary heritage. (2 Credits)
- Elective Entrepreneurship Course-Entrepreneurial Innovation, students learn to develop innovative business ideas and transform them into viable ventures through hands-on problem-solving, design thinking, and real-world project execution. (6 Credits)
- Elective Entrepreneurship Course-Family Business, students learn how to navigate the dynamics of family-owned enterprises by building trust, managing relationships, and planning effective leadership succession across generations. (6 Credits)

- Budgeting, students learn how to plan, prepare, and manage financial budgets to support strategic decision-making, control costs, and ensure organizational financial health. (4 Credits)
- Essential Leadership, students learn foundational leadership principles, styles, and skills to effectively influence, motivate, and guide individuals and teams toward achieving organizational goals. (4 Credits)
- Technology for Business, students learn how to leverage digital tools and emerging technologies to improve business operations, enhance decision-making, and drive innovation in a competitive environment. (3 Credits)
- Elective Entrepreneurship Course-Entrepreneurial Innovation for Sustainability, students will be able to carry out business functions professionally and sustainably through acquiring additional resources, understanding the company’s values and to carry out such operations in a professional and sustainable manner with a clear legality. (6 Credits)
- Elective Entrepreneurship Course-Family Business Innovation, students learn how to drive innovation within family-owned enterprises by balancing tradition with change, leveraging family values, and adapting to evolving markets and technologies. (6 Credits)

- Research Methodology, understand the concepts of research and marketing strategies, prepare implementation plans based on the concept of a marketing strategy framework, implement marketing strategies, and evaluate the overall implementation of such marketing strategies. (3 Credits)
- Entrepreneurial Leadership, students learn how to lead with vision, agility, and innovation by combining entrepreneurial thinking with leadership skills to drive change and create value in dynamic environments. (4 Credits)
- Digital Finance, students learn how technology transforms financial services, covering topics such as digital payments, fintech innovations, blockchain, and data-driven financial decision-making. (4 Credits)
- Elective Entrepreneurship Course-Business Growth, be aware of a company’s position by mapping business performance based on the 4 aspects of management
functions, present their company’s position (business performance) in a written format, find internal and external factors of the company which contribute to the company’s competitive advantages and formulate a corporate strategy in the form of a blueprint. (6 Credits) - Elective Entrepreneurship Course-Family Business Growth, students learn strategies to scale family-owned enterprises sustainably by strengthening governance, expanding markets, and managing growth while preserving family values. - Innovation on Real Business, as part of an internship, students apply creative problem-solving and innovation strategies to real business challenges, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to tangible improvements within a host organization. (3 Credits)
- Applied Strategic Leadership, students learn to implement leadership strategies in complex, real-world business contexts by aligning vision, execution, and team dynamics to drive organizational success. (4 Credits)
- Strategic Management, students learn how to analyze, formulate, and implement long-term strategies to achieve competitive advantage and ensure the sustainable success of an organization. (4 Credits)
- Final Project, students can graduate by completing a thesis paper, publishing research in a journal with a minimum Sinta 3 rating, or securing employment with a legitimate company before graduation. (6 Credits)
- MBKM credentials, recognition of achievements gained through Indonesia’s education program that allows students to gain diverse learning experiences outside the traditional classroom, aimed at enhancing their skills and employability. (4 Credits)
