UC Online Selenggarakan Kuliah Umum, Siapkan Mahasiswa Hadapi Dunia Kerja dan Bisnis

PR SURABAYA – Ciputra University (UC) Online once again held a Public Lecture as part of its commitment to producing graduates ready to compete in the world of work and to build businesses.
The event, which took place from March 11-27, 2025, was attended by students from various semesters and featured speakers from diverse industry backgrounds.
According to Dr Teofilus, S.E., M.M., CRME, Head of the UC Online Master of Management, online courses at UC are not just about obtaining an academic degree, but also equipping students with comprehensive skills and industry insights.
“We want to ensure that UC Online graduates not only have a diploma, but also a deep understanding of the world of work and the business they are involved in,” he said.
This public lecture featured influential figures, including H. M. Ali Affandi La Nyalla Mahmud Mattalitti (Chairman of the Surabaya City Chamber of Commerce and Industry), Dr Herzaky Mahendra Putra, S.Sos., M.M., CPR., CCM. (Expert Staff to the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development), and Danny Hidajat (Founder of We Link.Co Vietnam).
The presence of speakers from various fields provided broad insights that connected academic theory with dynamic industrial practices. This approach enabled students to understand how the theories learned can be applied in the workplace, whether in the corporate sector, government, or start-up businesses.
“By gaining perspectives from industry players and policymakers, students can be better prepared to face future professional challenges,” added Teofilus.
Real Impact on Students: One participant, Ferry Susanto, also a private sector employee, expressed the benefits of this public lecture. “I gained many new insights that I can apply in the workplace, and I can even propose innovative ideas for company development,” he said.
