UC Online Holds Public Lecture, Preparing Students for the Industrial World

jatim.jpnn.com, SURABAYA – Ciputra University (UC) Online held a public lecture to equip students with skills and insights that will increase their competitiveness in the workplace and in business development. The public lecture ran from March 11 to 27, 2025.
Dr Teofilus, S.E., M.M., CRME, Head of the UC Online Master’s in Management program, emphasised that online learning is now an effective method for individuals seeking continuous development.
“Studying online at UC is not just about obtaining a diploma, but truly equipping students with comprehensive skills and knowledge related to the industrial world they are involved in,” said Dr Teofilus.
The public lecture was attended by students from various semesters: 2nd, 4th, and 6th. Participants gained insights from various speakers from the corporate sector, business owners, consultants, policymakers, and representatives from state-owned enterprises.
With this approach, students are expected to gain comprehensive insights so they can apply theory and practice in line with government policies.
“The speakers included H. M. Ali Affandi La Nyalla Mahmud Mattalitti, Chairman of the Surabaya City Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dr Herzaky Mahendra Putra, S.Sos., M.M., CPR., CCM., Expert Staff to the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development; Danny Hidajat, Founder of We Link.Co Vietnam; and others,” he explained.
UC Online not only develops students’ entrepreneurial mindsets but also ensures that they can develop ideas and innovations that comply with regulations, both in their workplaces and in the businesses they start.
Thus, UC Online graduates are expected to have a positive impact on the progress of the companies they work for and create highly competitive businesses.
Ferry Susanto, a UC Online student and private sector employee, expressed his enjoyment of participating in this series of guest lectures.
