Ciputra Education Builds Medical Life Sciences Building

KBRN, Surabaya: Ciputra Education demonstrates its commitment to improving Indonesian education through the construction of a Life Sciences building at Ciputra University Surabaya.
This building will accommodate students from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry and is equipped with modern facilities to support learning.
Prof. Dr. Ir. Denny Bernardus, M.M., Executive Board Member of Ciputra Education, explained that the new building was designed for the development of the Life Sciences field.
“The construction of these 11-story twin towers is specifically for the development of Life Sciences,” said Prof. Denny, Wednesday (February 6, 2025).
The building was designed to accommodate the Faculty of Medicine, which requires larger and more modern facilities.
“The dynamics of Life Sciences development are very rapid, so we need more space than the previous building,” he said.
By moving to this new building, the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry will benefit from advanced medical equipment and adequate laboratory space.
“The laboratories on the ground floor and classrooms on the upper floors will make it easier for students to interact with medical equipment,” he said.
In addition, Ciputra Education is also providing scholarships totalling IDR 2.5 billion for outstanding students who wish to study at the faculty.
Prof. Denny added that this scholarship aims to produce high-quality doctors and help them overcome financial barriers to education.
The construction of this building, Prof. Denny continued, is part of Ciputra Education’s efforts to support the ever-growing medical education sector in Indonesia.
