February 5, 2025

Surabaya (beritajatim.com) – Ciputra Group has prepared scholarships totaling Rp 2.5 billion for outstanding prospective students at the Faculty of Medicine (FK) and Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of Ciputra University Surabaya.

This was conveyed by Ciputra Education Executive Board Member, Prof. Denny Bernardus, after the groundbreaking ceremony for the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry (FK) buildings at Ciputra University, as well as the topping off of the Ciputra Kasih High School building at Citraland Surabaya, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025.

Prof. Denny explained that the scholarships are planned to be distributed across various levels to 60 Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry students at Ciputra University.

“We are grateful that today, the Ciputra Group is providing an additional Rp 2.5 billion in scholarships. The plan is to distribute them across various levels. We plan to provide them to 60 Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry students,” he said.

According to him, these scholarships provide recognition and support for outstanding prospective students. The scholarships will be a one-time scheme, awarded upon enrollment in the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Ciputra University.

Prof. Denny explained that one of the main challenges for prospective students is the substantial cost of building materials. Therefore, this scholarship will focus on reducing building costs.

“Usually, the problem for prospective students is the cost of building materials. Tuition fees are regular. Therefore, this scholarship is intended to help parents of prospective students with outstanding achievements, especially in reducing building materials costs,” he said.

This scholarship is expected to ease the financial burden on the families of prospective students who excel, allowing them to focus on their studies without worrying about tuition fees. Ciputra Group hopes this initiative will create broader opportunities for young people to pursue higher education in the healthcare sector. [ipl/ted]
