
Ciputra University’s Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry Hold Free Checkups and Treatments for the Gresik community.

jatim.jpnn.com, GRESIK – The Faculty of Medicine (FK) and the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of Ciputra University held a Batsal (Mass Medical Treatment) event at the Randegansari Village Hall, Driyorejo District, Gresik Regency, on Sunday (2/23).
The event, initiated by Dr Denys Putra Alim, Sp.F.M., a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine at Ciputra University, and Dr Eveline Yulia Darmadi, Sp.KG., a lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry at Ciputra University, aimed to provide free healthcare and treatment services to the community, especially in preparation for the month of Ramadan.
It also supported government programs related to free health checkups and raised public awareness of the importance of health.
Involving doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, and medical and dental students, the event demonstrated the Ciputra University academic community’s commitment to public health.
The Batsal activities include general health and dental checkups for the community, mass medical treatment that includes medical consultations and medication distribution.
Medications such as oral medication, eye drops, and topical medications for minor ailments are also provided.
“If a case requires further treatment, the patient will be referred to the hospital. Minor procedures, such as minor surgery, will be performed on-site,” said Dr Denys.
The Batsal activities are expected to provide tangible benefits to the community by raising awareness of the importance of disease prevention and maintaining dental and oral health.
Doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry, alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, and medical and dental students held the Batsal activities at the Randegansari Village Hall, Gresik.
