Ciputra University Holds Free Mass Medical Treatment in Gresik

KBRN, Surabaya: The Faculty of Medicine (FK) and the Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) of Ciputra University (UC) Surabaya held a Mass Medical Treatment event at the Randegansari Village Hall in Gresik on Sunday (2/23/2025).

Dr Denys Putra Alim, Sp.F.M., a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, along with Dr Eveline Yulia Darmadi, Sp.KG., a lecturer at the Faculty of Dentistry at Ciputra University Surabaya, initiated the mass medical treatment to provide free healthcare and treatment to the community, especially in preparation for the month of Ramadan.

Involving not only doctors from the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry but also alumni of the Faculty of Medicine, as well as medical and dental students, this mass medical treatment embodies the Ciputra University academic community’s commitment to public health.

“The mass medical treatment activities today include general health and dental checkups for the community. They also include medical consultations and medication distribution. They also provide medications such as oral medications, eye drops, and topical medications for minor ailments,” said Dr Denys Putra Alim, Sp.F.M.

“If a case requires further treatment, the patient will be referred to a hospital. Meanwhile, minor procedures, such as minor surgery, will be performed on-site,” he continued.

This mass medical treatment is expected to benefit the community by raising awareness of the importance of disease prevention and maintaining dental and oral health.

This free mass medical treatment from the Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Dentistry of Ciputra University Surabaya can serve up to 80 residents of Randegansari Village, Gresik.
