Di tengah keprihatinan akan sesama yang tidak mampu mendapatkan makanan yang layak dan tingginya harga bahan-bahan makanan, membuang makanan menjadi ironi yang menggores nurani.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Data sampah makanan di Jakarta menunjukkan, tinggi kerucur timbunan sampah makan mencapai 617 meter, sampah per kapita sebesar 0,55 kg dan pemborosan makanan terbuang per bulan per kapita senilai Rp 460.878,20<\/p>\n<p>Dari hasil kajian Kementerian Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (Bappenas), sampah makanan atau food loss and waste (FLW) di Indonesia sejak tahun 2000 hingga 2019 mencapai 23 juta ton &#8211; 48 juta ton per tahun atau setara 115 kilogram &#8211; 184 kilogram per kapita per tahun. Data terkait lainnya, akibat sampah makanan, negara mengalami kerugian ekonomi mencapai Rp 213 triliun hingga Rp 551 triliun per tahun atau setara dengan 4% &#8211; 5% produk domestik bruto (PDB) Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p>Kementerian Pariwisata dan Ekonomi Kreatif (Kemparekraf) memiliki 5 strategi untuk mengatasi sampah makanan.
