Inovasi ini dinilai strategis karena memanfaatkan limbah melimpah, ramah lingkungan, serta memiliki kepastian kehalalan.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">Penelitian tersebut dipimpin Ketua Tim Peneliti Joko Sulistyo, bersama dosen Mitha Ayu Pratama Handojo dan Agoes Tinus Lis Indrianto. Proyek ini juga melibatkan mahasiswa Belinda Manuela Angkadjaja dan Tuhfah Wikaputra, dengan dukungan teknis dari laboran Teknologi Pangan Amelia Myristi Lolita.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">Joko Sulistyo menjelaskan, kolagen dihasilkan dari membran cangkang telur (egg shell membrane\/ESM) yang selama ini belum banyak dimanfaatkan.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">\u201cLimbah cangkang telur ini jumlahnya sangat besar di sekitar kita. Dari hasil riset, kami menemukan bahwa membran cangkang telur mengandung kolagen ESM yang nilainya sangat tinggi dan manfaatnya luar biasa,\u201d ujar Joko.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">Ia menegaskan, kolagen ESM memiliki keunggulan utama dibandingkan kolagen impor, terutama dari sisi kehalalan, ketersediaan bahan, dan biaya produksi.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">\u201cSelama ini kolagen banyak diimpor dan bahan bakunya tidak selalu jelas aspek kehalalannya. Sementara kolagen ESM ini halal karena masuk dalam positive list BPJPH, murah, mudah diperoleh, dan sangat melimpah,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">Kolagen ESM hasil riset Universitas Ciputra memiliki aplikasi luas, mulai dari pangan, minuman fungsional, kosmetik, farmasi, hingga suplemen kesehatan. Dalam bidang pangan, kolagen ESM dapat digunakan sebagai bahan pengganti pada berbagai produk berbasis jelly serta minuman kolagen yang kini populer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">\u201cTargetnya bukan hanya kecantikan, tetapi juga kesehatan, anti-aging, pencegahan penuaan dini, hingga perawatan kulit,\u201d kata Joko.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">Selain pangan dan minuman, kolagen ESM juga berpotensi dikembangkan untuk aplikasi medis, seperti bahan penutup luka pascaoperasi, luka bakar, dan perawatan jaringan, melalui formulasi berbasis kolagen.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">Tak hanya membran cangkang telur, bagian cangkang kerasnya juga dimanfaatkan. Joko mengungkapkan, hasil proses laboratorium menunjukkan bahwa cangkang telur kaya kalsium dapat digunakan sebagai bahan substitusi bioplastik.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">\u201cKalsium dari cangkang telur berfungsi sebagai filler yang membuat bioplastik lebih kuat, tidak mudah robek, dan lebih tahan terhadap air dibanding bioplastik konvensional,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">Ke depan, Universitas Ciputra membuka peluang kerja sama dengan industri dan pelaku usaha untuk mengembangkan produk ini ke tahap komersial. Pada tahun 2026, tim peneliti menargetkan penandatanganan kerja sama teknis melalui Memorandum of Agreement (MoA).<\/p>\n<p class=\"article-text css-g1n3dh\">\u201cKami membuka kolaborasi seluas-luasnya dengan industri.
