Seger banget,, manisnya pun almi. Efektif mengembalikan kesegaran tubuh di tengah sengatan matahari Surabaya yang <em>kebangetan<\/em>. Indrawati Liputra dan Lucyana Hartanto tertarik mengemas sari tebu menjadi lebih modern\u00a0 dengan beragam bahan tambahan.<\/p>\n<p>Salah satu yang cukup digemari adalah tebu yang ditambahkan dengan <em>charcoal<\/em> alias arang. Arang? <em>Yes<\/em>, warnanya jadi kehitaman. Tapi, rasanya jauh lebih segar. \u201cEksperimen ini awalnya coba-coba. Tapi, ternyata enak. Ya sudah, kami bikin serius dan coba berbagi ke teman-teman,\u201d tutur Indrawati.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut perempuan yang akrab disapa Ling Ling itu, arang yang dipakai adalah arang bambu. Untuk menghasilkan minuman yang <em>yummy<\/em>, takaran antara tebu dan arang bambu sekitar 50 peren banding 50 persen.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWarnanya memang jadi menghitam kalau ditambah arang. Tapi, rasa manis tebunya tetap terasa,\u201d jelas Ling Ling. \u201cMenurutku, minuman ini pas banget dikonsumsi ketika selesai berolahraga. Makin segar,\u201d lanjut dia.<\/p>\n<p>Ling Ling mengatakan, minuman itu berkhasiat meredakan panas tubuh. Sari tebu mengandung gula asli sehingga aman bagi penderita diabetes. Karena ditambah arang, manfaatnya bertambah. \u201cMenurut teman-teman yang mencoba, pencernaan bisa makin plong. Apalagi but yang susah buang gas,\u201d ungkapnya, lantas meringis.<\/p>\n<p>Hans Krishan, ahli gizi, menyatakan bahwa tebu aman dikonsumsi. Bahkan, efektif mengusir dehidrasi. Menurut alumnus FKG Unair itu, tebu juga dapat menurunkan panas tubuh. \u201cDalam tebu itu, ada fosfor zat besi, kalium, kalsium, dan magnesium. Kandungan mineralnya banyak,\u201d jelas Hans.<\/p>\n<p>Lalu, bagaimana arangnya? Guru besar ilmu botani, farmasi, dan farmakognosi Fakultas Farmasi Unair Prof Dr Mangestuti Agil MS menjelaskan, arang bambu tidak mempunyai nilai nutrisi. \u201cNamun, dalam bidang farmasi, bahan ini bisa menyerap kotoran atau racun dalam tubuh, \u201c ujar perempuan kelahiran 22 April 1950 itu. Dia menambahkan, sebagai pewarna alami, arang bambu tergolong aman.<\/p>\n<p>Bagi yang masih ragu atau tidak suka megkonsumsi minuman berwarna hitam, Ling Ling membuat varian lain. Yakni, tebu yang ditambahkan lemon. Menurut Ling Ling, minuman tersebut bisa menyerap zat-zat nakal, misalnya lemak jahat. \u201cEksperimen ini dari pengalaman temanku. Dia cerita setiap mencoba makanan santan atau sajian yang berlemak, dia meminum sari lemon untuk menetralkan,\u201d tutur dia.<\/p>\n<p>Maria Yolanda, model, menyatakan suka mencoba sari tebu. Menurut dia, minuman itu cocok diminum di Surabaya yang sangat panas. \u201cAku selalu bawa bekal pas olahraga maupun nge-gym.
