Stigma itulah yang coba dihapus Nadia Soewandito. \u201cTapi kalau mulai pelan-pelan, sebenarnya triatlon ini olahraga untuk siapa saja,\u201d ucap perempuan yang menekuni triatlon sejak 2017 itu.<\/p>\n<p>Melalui Surabaya Triathlon 2020, Nadia dan tim penyelenggara ingin mengenalkan apa itu triatlon bagi warga Surabaya. \u201cDi sini komunitas kebanyakan ya pelari pesepeda. Yang triatlon sedikit sekali,\u201d ucap alumnus Universitas Ciputra itu.<\/p>\n<p>Nadia menjelaskan tantangan utama menghadapi triatlon sebenarnya adalah membagi waktu untuk berlatih ketiga cabang. Apalagi, masing-masing orang punya keleihan dan kekurangan. \u201cAda yang jagonya di sepeda atau di lari. Beda-beda.\u201d Jelas <em>event director<\/em> Surabaya Triathlon 2020 itu.<\/p>\n<p>Saat berlatih, Nadia menegaskan pentingnya <em>warming up, stretching,<\/em> dan <em>cooling down<\/em>. Sebab, banyak pemula yang sering melewatkannya. \u201cTerus saat lari, maunya langsung cepat. Memaksa badan,\u201d ucapnya saat ditemui pada konferensi pers Surabaya Triathlon 2020 di Ciputra World Surabaya kemarin (6\/3).<\/p>\n<p>Sebenarnya, tak ada waktu pasti seberapa lama <em>warming-up<\/em> dilakukan. Tiap orang memiliki standar sendiri, bergantung pada kondisi tubuh mereka. Masih kaku atau tidak. \u201cSaya sendiri kalau mau lari, <em>warming up<\/em> 10 menit. Tapi, renang dan sepeda cukup 5 menit,\u201d paparnya.<\/p>\n<p>Hal itu perlu dilakukan untuk menghindari cedera saat berlatih. \u201cBanyak cedera yang mungkin terjadi,\u201d sambungnya. Yang paling banyak terjadi biasanya ITB (<em>iliotibial band<\/em>), hamstring, dan <em>shin splint<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Selain itu, Nadia menekankan pentingnya menambah porsi latihan secara bertahap. Jangan sampai memaksa tubuh dengan jarak yang langsung jauh. Saat mengikuti Surabaya Triathlon 2020 pada Minggu (8\/3), peserta akan ditantang menyelesaikan renang sejauh 500 meter, bersepeda 20 kilometer, dan berlari 5 kilometer.
