Bentuknya yang imut, warna mecolok, serta sentuhan rasa lembut dan manis tersebut bikin gemas siapa pun yang melihat. Tak jarang, sebagian orang menjadikan kue kering itu sebagai objek narsis di jejaring sosial.<\/p>\n<p>Dua tahun terkahir ini, macaroon mulai terkenal di Surabaya. Tahun ini merupakan puncaknya. Uniknya, pastry yang tergolong produk prestisius itu tetap diminati banyak orang. Harganya cukup mahal. Di Prancis, sekeping macaroon bisa dihargai Rp 40 ribu hingga Rp 100 ribu.<\/p>\n<p>Sebab, pembuatannya masih menggunakan tangan.\u201d Jadi, tingkat kegagalannya lebih besar sekitar 40 persen. Itulah yang membuat harganya lebih mahal,\u201d ungkap Glen Soetanto, owner Kampoeng Roti kemarin(10\/6)<\/p>\n<p>Macaroon saat ini tampil lebih cantik dengan warna-warna pastel yang indah. Mulai merah, kuning, hijau, ungu, cokelat,biru, dan hitam. Kue kering berbahan dasar putih telur dan tumbukan almond tersebut sudah terkenal pada abad ke-16 di Prancis. Namun, macaroon masih sederhana. Bentuknya hanya kepingan. Nah, saat ini macaroon dibuat lebih variatif dengan rasa beragam.\u201d Ya, ada tambahan selai dengan rasa yang beragam,\u201dujar Glen.<\/p>\n<p>Namun, macaroon saat ini banyak menghipnotis anak-anak muda. Beberapa jejaring sosial seperti Instagram, Twitter,Path, maupun Facebook banyak menampilakn kue asla Prancis tersebut dengan gaya unik masing-masing. Hal tersebut membuat sebagian masyrakat penasaran. \u201cKadang tidak untuk mengisi perut. Bentuk dan warna yang cantik merka beli untuk eksis.\u201d Ungkapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Owner Madame Tartine Tea Room Yenita Jayanata mengatakan, madeleine berasal dari Commercy France yang ditemukan pada 1700-an. Kue tersebut terkenal untuk hidangan minum teh atau kopi. Biasanya, madeleine itu disantap dengan cara dicelupkan ke dalam minuman tersebut.\u201d Akrena itu, medeleine dibuat lebih padat,\u201dujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Karena betuknya yang unik dengan variasi rasa, biasanya medeleine juga digunakan sebagai hidangan pesta maupun hantaran.
