Tetapi karena saat ini masih dalam masa pandemi COVID, perayaan Tahun baru Imlek yang jatuh pada tanggal 12 Februari harus dirayakan dengan cara yang sedikit berbeda.<br>Pemerintah juga telah menghimbau warganya untuk merayakan imlek dengan cara-cara baru yang tidak mengurangi makna Imlek dan tetap dilakukan dengan protokol kesehatan. Dikutip dari Tirto.id, cara-cara yang bisa dilakukan antara lain, dengan merayakan Imlek bersama keluarga inti yang tinggal satu rumah, mengirim angpao secara digital, dan melihat atraksi barongsai secara virtual.<br>Tim Jurnalis BMA juga mewawancarai dua pengurus UKM UCBC yang juga merayakan tahun baru imlek yaitu Debby dan Carine. Melalui telfon mereka bercerita tentang persiapan mereka dalam menyambut imlek pada tahun ini. Debby yang merupakan koordinator humas UKM UCBC misalnya berencana untuk merayakan imlek tahun ini dengan melakukan video call sanak saudara, bibi, dan paman. Hal ini dilakukan karena keluarga besar sedang berada di kota yang berbeda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"929\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ciputra.ac.id\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-debby.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-912\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ciputra.ac.id\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-debby.jpeg 929w, https:\/\/www.ciputra.ac.id\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-debby-272x300.jpeg 272w, https:\/\/www.ciputra.ac.id\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-debby-768x847.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 929px) 100vw, 929px\" \/><figcaption>Debby<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Sedangakan Carine yang saat ini tinggal di Bali, ia berencana untuk merayakan Tahun Baru Imlek di rumah nenek saudara terdekat saja. Carine juga bercerita bahwa tempat ibadah yang biasanya ia kunjungi juga telah memiliki mekanisme protokol kesehatan khususnya untuk pelaksanaan sembahyang, dan jika kelenteng dirasa terlalu ramai maka Carine dan keluarga berencana untuk beribadah di rumah saja untuk menghindari kerumunan. Perbedaan signifikan yang cukup terasa dibanding Imlek tahun-tahun sebelumnya adalah suasana imlek yang tidak bisa seramai tahun sebelumnya. Jika ditahun sebelumnya perayaan Tahun Baru Imlek menjadi momen untuk mendekatkan keluarga jauh yang hanya dapat bertemu setahun sekali, di tahun ini Imlek harus dirayakan dengan cara yang berbeda dan lebih sederhana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ciputra.ac.id\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-carine.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-913\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.ciputra.ac.id\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-carine.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.ciputra.ac.id\/sa\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/image-carine-225x300.jpeg 225w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><figcaption>Carine<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>\u201cMakna imlek buat aku itu memulai sesuatu dengan yang baru, tahun baru jadi kayak apapun itu baru gitu maka ada peribahasa Nian Nian You Yu, yang artinya tiap tahun ada kelebihan apa ya sisa\u201d ujar Carine yang merupakan ketua UKM UCBC. Nian Nian You Yu yang secara harfiah berarti \u201ctahun tahun ada sisa\u201d ucapan ini diberikan untuk mendoakan agar setiap tahun kita tetap ada sisa berupa berkat dan tidak kehabisan hal tersebut.<br>Di akhir periode jabatan mereka berpesan untuk seluruh UCpeople yang merayakan imlek untuk sama-sama menghargai apa yang saat ini dimiliki dan bersyukur meskipun harus melalui tahun lalu dengan berat dan banyak keterbatasan, karena tidak semua orang bisa melewati tahun ini.
