Kolaborasi Global untuk Memajukan Pendidikan Kewirausahaan yang Berdampak
Universitas Ciputra Surabaya kembali menunjukkan partisipasinya di kancah internasional dengan mengirimkan delegasi Departemen Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (ENT) untuk mengikuti Global Entrepreneurship Education Meeting (GEEM) 2025. Ajang bergengsi ini diselenggarakan pada 21–23 Oktober 2025, dengan tema besar “Connected by Purpose: Advancing Entrepreneurship Education through Global Collaboration”. Pada acara yang diselenggarakan di Hotel Episode dan Kampus Universitas Multimedia Nusantara ini diikuti oleh Stephanus Eko Wahyudi (Head of Entrepreneurship & Venture Development), Christina (Entrepreneurship Course Section Head), dan drh. Almaedawati Erina (Social Innovation Section Head).
Kehadiran mereka mencerminkan komitmen Universitas Ciputra dalam memperkuat kolaborasi global di bidang pendidikan kewirausahaan dan inovasi sosial. Melalui serangkaian sesi plenary discussions, workshops, dan networking events, para delegasi UC berdialog dengan pendidik, peneliti, dan praktisi kewirausahaan dari seluruh dunia, membahas bagaimana pendidikan entrepreneurship dapat menjadi kekuatan untuk perubahan sosial dan keberlanjutan.
Tentang GEEM: Ruang Kolaborasi Global untuk Pendidikan Kewirausahaan
Global Entrepreneurship Education Meeting (GEEM) merupakan forum internasional yang digagas untuk mempertemukan para penggerak pendidikan kewirausahaan lintas sektor. GEEM berfokus pada pengembangan pendidikan kewirausahaan yang inklusif, kolaboratif, dan berorientasi pada dampak sosial.
GEEM 2025 mengusung semangat untuk membangun ekosistem pembelajaran yang “connected by purpose” — saling terhubung oleh tujuan untuk menciptakan pembelajaran bermakna, inovatif, dan relevan dengan tantangan global. Beberapa topik utama yang dibahas mencakup:
- Entrepreneurship Education for Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
- Integrating Technology and Creativity in Entrepreneurship Learning

Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh perwakilan dari UNESCO Entrepreneurship Education Network (EE-Net), pendidik dari berbagai universitas di Asia dan Eropa, hingga praktisi inovasi sosial dari sektor industri dan pemerintahan.

GEEM 2025 diselenggarakan oleh Sociopreneur Indonesia (SociopreneurID), sebuah organisasi berbasis tujuan (purpose-driven organization) yang berdedikasi untuk menumbuhkan wirausaha sosial di Indonesia. Partisipasi Universitas Ciputra dalam GEEM 2025 memberikan banyak wawasan berharga, terutama dalam memperkaya pendekatan experiential learning yang menjadi inti dari kurikulum Entrepreneurship & Venture Development. Diskusi lintas negara ini membuka peluang kolaborasi riset, program pertukaran dosen, serta pengembangan kurikulum berbasis dampak sosial dan keberlanjutan.
“Keikutsertaan kami di GEEM memberikan perspektif baru tentang bagaimana pendidikan kewirausahaan dapat menjadi alat transformasi sosial,” ungkap Stephanus Eko Wahyudi. “Kami ingin memastikan mahasiswa UC tidak hanya menjadi entrepreneur yang sukses, tetapi juga agen perubahan yang membawa dampak positif bagi masyarakat.”

Global Collaboration to Advance Purpose-Driven Entrepreneurship Education
Universitas Ciputra Surabaya has once again demonstrated its participation on the international stage by sending a delegation from the Department of Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (ENT) to attend the Global Entrepreneurship Education Meeting (GEEM) 2025.
