Valid Record is a document that states the results achieved or as evidence of the implementation of activities. This document is often referred to as a “work result document”.
The characteristics of a valid record include:
- Include the author's identity, such as name, title, and organization.
- Include the date of creation.
- Include a signature, either wet or digital.
If revisions are required to the original handwritten quality record, each change must be accompanied by a signature, the initials of the person making the correction, and the date of the correction. For example, a change from “25 pcs” to “28 pcs” must be completed with the initials and date of correction such as “2/1/2019”.
