The Applied Photography course is one of the elective programs in Photography science. Through this course, students are expected to be able to create concept photo work by applying photography principles to produce a portfolio of works that have commercial value. The work phases in this course include selecting the focus of the photography field interested in, enriching concept ideas, and executing a photography project. Students are expected to have basic knowledge of photography, both mastery of camera and photography techniques.

The fashion style that we promote in fashion photography this time is Chinese Style, where the clothes used have an elegant and bold as the manifestation of a strong woman figure. equipped with fan accessories that support in showing Chinese fashion characteristic. The talented model that we chose was also a 2021 VCD student named Sharon Govita.

The food we chose was one of the traditional specialties that are quite popular in Indonesia, namely yellow rice. By promoting the theme from zero to hero, the regular yellow rice that we originally bought in traditional markets on the top of a banana leaf. We change the appearance of the food in order to get more value. With the composition and lighting, coupled with side dishes and supporting properties, eventually able to make the audience want to taste the food just from a photo that we took
