The Basic Illustration course is one of the elective programs in Illustration science. The focus of study in this course is the creation of design works by applying design methods with creative and entrepreneurial interpretation, to produce digital illustration works that have commercial value. The work phases in this course are illustration pioneering, illustration as a design element, character design identity, composition, colour value, illustration semiotics, illustration as a design element, and propaganda illustration posters.

Students were instructed to create propaganda illustration posters based on social issues that occur in society. Some of the themes raised were social caste inequality, beauty privilege issues, bullying, mental health, and politics.

Guri Ramen Mascot Project
