RECOGNITION OF
PRIOR LEARNING (RPL)

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is the academic equivalency process for work experience and/or certified training to obtain higher education qualifications at Universitas Ciputra.

Example :

Kevin has been working as an Accountant for two years, and now he wants to pursue a Bachelor’s degree (S1). Kevin then applies to Universitas Ciputra Surabaya through the RPL (Recognition of Prior Learning) pathway. During the new student admission selection process, Kevin’s two years of work experience are recognized/converted into 100 credits (SKS). As a result, Kevin only needs to complete 44 more credits to obtain the Bachelor’s degree he desires.

Example :

With the course credits obtained through academic recognition of work experience and/or certified training, students can accelerate their graduation time compared to those who follow the regular pathway.

EFFICIENT COST

The shorter study period will also reduce the total tuition fees, making the overall cost of the RPL program more economical compared to the regular program.

REQUIREMENTS

S1	S2
Minimal lulusan Diploma 3 atau pernah menjalani pendidikan tinggi dan telah menempuh minimal 80 sks di PT sebelumnya	Minimal lulusan Sarjana atau Sarjana Terapan atau sederajat
Memiliki pengalaman kerja minimal 2 tahun di bidang yang selaras dengan prodi yang dituju	Memiliki pengalaman kerja minimal 5 tahun di perusahaan dengan kualifikasi minimal menengah ke atas di bidang yang selaras dengan prodi yang di tuju
Besarnya sks yang diakui maksimal sebesar 75% untuk Program Sarjana dari total sks kurikulum program studi yang di tuju, yaitu 108 sks.	Besarnya sks yang di akui maksimal sebesar 75% untuk Program Magister dari total sks kurikulum program studi yang dituju, yaitu 33 sks
Masa studi minimal mahasiswa program sarjana yang diterima melalui program RPL di UC adalah 2 semester	Masa studi maksimal mahasiswa program magister yang diterima melalui program RPL di UC adalah 2 (dua) semester.
